Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Our University and Turksat Satellite Communication Cable TV and Business Inc.
The Protocol for cooperation between our University and Turksat Satellite Communication Cable TV and Business Inc. in various fields was signed on May 24, 2024, in the Senate Hall of the Türkkuşu Campus by the President of the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association Prof. Dr. Rahmi ER and Turksat Inc. General Manager Hasan Hüseyin ERTOK.

Speaking at the ceremony held for the signing of the protocol, Turksat Inc. General Manager Hüseyin Ertok stated the importance they attach to the training of human resources in the field of satellite communications, and that with this Cooperation Protocol signed with University of Turkish Aeronautical Association. He also mentioned that they have increased the number of cooperation protocols they have signed with various universities over the years, and that they aim to contribute to the training of more qualified people in the field with these protocols.

The President Prof. Dr. Rahmi ER expressed his great pleasure to have signed such a cooperation protocol with a reputable institution such as Turksat Inc., which enables our students to do internships and gain experience in Turksat as candidate engineers. He added that he believes that the establishment of university-sector cooperation academically and scientifically will make a significant contribution to the development of both the academy and the sector.
Afterwards, the delegations exchanged views on various issues including education, internship, candidate engineering, joint research and development and the ceremony was concluded with the presentation of plaques.

At the ceremony, the Vice President Prof. Dr. Tahsin Çağrı Şişman, the Dean of the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences Prof. Dr. Nevsan Şengil, the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and the faculty member of the Department of Aerospace Engineering Prof. Dr. Uğur Murat Leloğlu, TTO Manager Banu Aktalay; Human Resources Director İmge Büşra Açıksöz and Application Programs Director Fatih Ayhan from Turksat Satellite Communication Cable TV and Operation Inc. were also present.
